Do you accept AI-generated films?

No. Phintch is built for real human filmmakers. We don't accept AI-generated films—we're here to champion the people behind the camera, not machines.

Who can submit?

Independent filmmakers from New Mexico, and anyone who made their film in the Land of Enchantment. Students, first-time filmmakers, and seasoned creators are all welcome.

Does my film have to be made in New Mexico?

Either you're a New Mexican filmmaker or the film was made in New Mexico. If your story is tied to the Land of Enchantment, we want to see it.

Is there a submission fee?

No. Submitting to Phintch is completely free—there are no fees to submit or to be featured.

What happens after I submit?

A real person on the Phintch team reviews your submission and emails you with next steps. You'll never be left wondering.

How long does approval take?

We review submissions as they come in and follow up by email. If you haven't heard from us and want an update, reach out at hello@phintch.com.

Do I retain ownership?

Yes. You keep 100% ownership of your film and all of its rights. Featuring your film on Phintch never signs those away.

How are filmmakers compensated?

You choose your preferred payment method(s) on the submission form. Audiences support you directly, and 100% of every contribution reaches you—we only facilitate the connection.

Can I remove my film?

Absolutely. Because you own your film, you can request to have it taken down at any time by emailing us.

Can students submit?

Yes. Student films are welcome and encouraged—Phintch is here for New Mexican voices at every stage.

What types of films do you accept?

Short films, feature-length films, documentaries, experimental work, and student films. If it was made by or in New Mexico, it belongs here.
